Patch notes: house rules

From Inferno, teacher of fire

Every good fight has rules, Kindling. Now you get to set them. Mostly.

Multiplayer

  • Match options. Before a duel, on the Multiplayer menu or in your lobby, tick what you want:
    • Push your opponent: your chains and combos raise their stack. The classic.
    • Garbage blocks: your chains and combos drop stone slabs on their board. Bigger chains, taller slabs. Clear something touching a slab and it cracks back into tiles.
    • Reactions: grayed out until you’ve earned them. You’ll know how.
  • Both of you have to agree. An option is on only when both students tick it, and the lobby shows what you’ve agreed on. Change your mind after your opponent’s ready, and you both confirm again. Fair’s fair.
  • Against a computer student, it’s your call alone. Set how hard they play, 1 to 10, and tick Computer only to skip the search and go straight to one.
  • Looking for a student now shows a countdown. When it runs out and nobody’s free, a computer student steps in.
  • Untick everything and it’s a straight race. Brave. I’d watch.

Your choices are remembered for next time. Now go and pick a fight you can win.
